Stainless steel wires
LINUS® stainless steel 18/10 wire (18 % chrome, 10 % nickel) is stable in the mass.
It maintains all of its dimensions and features throughout its entire service life.
LINUS® stainless steel wire is also characterised by :
- Maximum stretching of 3 % and a rupture load of 1350 N/mm². As a result, there is less need for restringing and thus lower maintenance costs
- Spiral-wound aligned packing on plastic spools makes manual or mechanical unspooling easier.
- Ease of handling :
for example : 5 spools of Ø 1,4 = 5500 m, or 68 kg, equivalent to 150 kg of traditional Galva C. - The surface remains smooth over time, which prevents harm to new shoots.

LINUS® also offers : Wire for windrows, hail protectors, etc. : - 3 mm diameter, cold-worked, in coils of 35 kg-630 m. - 2,5 mm diameter, cold-worked, in coils of 25 kg-650 m. Anchor wire : 3 mm diameter, tempered, in coils of 15 kg-270 m. Wire specially designed for anchoring. Advantages : - non rusting - non stretching - easy to work with thanks to its annealing. Usage Tips: - allways keep the wire taught - to obtain a tie-off that won't slip, follow the model shown in the diagram. |

LINFIL GALFAN® wires
Advantages
Economical :
More metres available per coil for the same weight of wire.
Trellising that lasts nearly 4 times longer than Class C and requires very little upkeep.
High-Performances :
Wire that remains smooth over time and has a traction resistance that is much greater than that of Class C (70 kg/mm² for LINFIL vs. 45 kg/mm² for Galva C wire).
Extensive Service Life :
GALFAN® coating dissolves less rapidly than zinc. This wire will remain intact approximately 4 times longer after it takes on a patina, which gives it exceptional longevity and a smooth surface.
Reduced upkeep :
The quality of the steel and low stretching factor of the wire will save you time year after year when it comes to trellis upkeep.
Easy to use :
The winding of the coils is specially designed to make unspooling and installation easy.
Packaging :
Wound in 25-kg coils consolidated in 500 kg bundles.
